george anthony gabriel foo yong guang. i'm very proud of you.

barring a phil mickelson at winged foot meltdown with a double double finish, he won by one. barely a win but a brilliant win nonetheless. he's worked so hard at his game over the past couple of years and suffered heartbreak after heartbreak when he'd come so close so often but never seal the deal.

i would know, i delt a few of those heartbreaks to him personally.

but being the plucky fighter that he is, he never lost sight of the bigger picture. he never let go of the belief that he knew what he was doing would eventually surge him past his peers and into the spotlight he so greatly deserved.

i truly admire his hardwork, drive, work ethic and courage to pick himself up after each and every defeat and try even harder the following week. but most of all i admire the belief he had in himself. unwaivering and true, that belief has brought him to the pedestal on which he stands today.

truly the best damn junior golfer in singapore.

i mean that from the heart.

but one burning question remains in my heart...

if he's never lost his drive to succeed, his purpose to practice and his belief in himself.

where the bloody hell has mine gone?

spread the lovin'
