spartan training continued today with me stumbling half awake down to the gym for more body bashing. pumped, grunted and sweated my way through the hour and a half feeling like a million bucks. :)

showered then headed down to get my cab to seletar.

for once in my life i did the right thing when it comes to taxis. if you guys need a little refresher i'm the guy who impersonates other people, takes their cabs, then makes up some fictional but very believable tale about how my father just suddenly passed on, then proceeds to get the cab to make a detour from its booked route and hey, if i'm lucky the driver 'll be a sucker and gimme a free cab ride out of sheer pity for my sorry state.

but today i did the morally upright thing. the cab i booked wound up at the wrong roundabout and called to inform me that he was on his way back up. just as i hung up the phone miss nora emerges from a cab right in front of me...there it was, my taxi waiting for me in all its glory. no ridiculously high surcharges from booking and peak hour rates of $6. it was all there. but then i remembered...

i'm a good catholic schoolboy.

so i passed and hopped into my taxi. grumbling inside about the fact that at the beginning of the trip i'd be already $8.50 worse off. and he only spoke chinese. so struggling through directions he finally got it right and i reluctantly forked out $15.30 upon arrival after deciding that it would do me no good killing then robbing him.

i felt good inside. and my wallet felt a great deal lighter.

training was okay. save for the fact that i was zombified due to my beefed up trainig regimen and my lack of sleep last night. i lethargically trudged through my 200 balls. drill work on my swing kinda woke me up a bit and obviously 100 sit ups with a medicine ball with jolene got me right up and running. felt good afterwards and i gorged down my prawn mee at the terrace.

lid gave me a ride out to the base where i discovered a new budget way back. after several failed attempts to flag a taxi down i just hopped on bus 858 which said woodlands interchange. fell asleep on the bus as usual but awoke to the pleasant sight of causeway point. the publictransportarilly challenged timmy strikes back with avengence! :)

LOTR'd for a while before going down at 3 to mug for EP with fendi, fooster and linglin. after 3 hours of flexion, extension, hyperextension, cheese fries and mugging i felt good about my chances of acing tomorrows test.

dinner with fendi, jov and nickers at vista.

coaching formative test was a blowout. stared blankly at my ungraded chore for the night. blank stares from all who shared my fate. we're all doomed. i mean i answered the question "what is implicit learning? explicit learning" so you get the point.

pool with th boys in the rec room did some good for the nerves. got muggin to do tonight. got assignment to start and finish before monday.

got sleep to catch up on

got body to build.

got tournaments to prep for.

busy no?

spread the lovin'
