there's never a dull moment in my life...

woke up today to a potential catastrophe...in an attempt to get my laptop internet connection to play cs and poker online I figured that if I unplugged my moms cable hooked up to her com and home wireless that i could fix that up to my com and that would solve the problem right...? WRONG!

unplugged it and tried to fix it up to my laptop. internet wouldnt run, laptop died. figured that if i hooked up the charger it would be okay. so dug up my charger but discovered that all the powerpoints in the study were occupied. figured that i could unplug the one hooked up to the printer so i could charge my com. traced the black wire from the printer through the jungle of other colours wires to 2 terminals with black ones. figured my odds were ok, 50/50. so i plugged out one. monitor goes poof then goes dead.

shit.

so i plug it back in and turn it on but no response. I'm now in panic mode. after about half an hour of banging, bashing, cussing and lots of prayer i decide to give up. had my breakfast then figured out some prayer in church might have been a good idea. called aloy to accompany me for 1045 mass. got out of my place on the 1030 bus and I'm kinda waiting for a cab or a bus to come by and holy shit that creepy girl that i keep running into in church comes up to me and asks to see my rings.

I'm like firstly. "holy shit! why her again! what the fuck is she doing asking to see my rings"

anyway I play along and let her see 'em. after 5 mins of whining very loudly so the whole bus stop knew about how big my rings are. then proceeds to ask me if she can have them.

I'm like "hell no girl!" who the fuck do you think you are?

then she asks to see my iPod. I'm kinda ready to say no but she yanks the thing out of my pocket and starts to blast the thing while the earpiece is still in my ear. whee. then she asks if she can have that. I'm like "you gotta be kidding me" and gently rip it out of her hands and back into the safety of my pocket. saved by the bus.

when it finally gets to church i bolt off and literally sprint all the way to church in an attempt to lose her. found aloy all the way in the back left and stood with him. no sign of creepy stalking bitch in the purple shirt. then i see her standing in the front row near the door, and at the same time she notices me! I'm like holy shit! get me outta here...

then she starts making her way up the stairs toward where I was. told aloy that I loved him very much and to tell my mom that I loved her in the event that I was dragged away by the psychopath and turned into a fluffy pillow for her bed. so kinda attempt to give her the cold shoulder and ignore her but it was just WAY to awkward.

she kept touching my oakleys during mass and I'm like "listen girl, you can touch the rings, i dont say nothing, you can touch the iPod...but dont ever touch my fudging oakleys!" that kinda did it for me...no one touches me oaks...sheesh

thank you nicky png darlin for keepin me company on the sms. after church ended aloy and i kinda slinked away into the crowd for fear of our lives. finally lost her.

I'm gonna need to get either police escorts or a restraining order soon. she's scary!

anyway, chatted with nicky for a bit after mass while the choir had their rehearsals. then bolted home to think of good excuses for why the monitor wouldnt work.

mom bought it. whew

sometime later she fixed it so yeah. I'll live to fight another day :)

watched the dubai desert classic. stenson won! whee! rhandawa and woods played well too so yeah.

went to bukit timah plaza with mom after that. embarrased ourselves like little kids with the lifts again. i shall not disclose details but it involved giggling pressing lots of buttons in the lifts. then running out into empty ones while leaving others in there. i know. immature and dumb but hey. its cool

anyway. hoping for a good week ahead. playing with coach and george tomorrow. warren and seletar have worked out the deal for jerome and myself so I'm only paying for buggy tomorrow ;)

anyway. poker beckons

God Bless

spread the lovin'
