i had 87 hits today but hey. could have been worse. things could have been alot worse.
i mean i didn't really lose it today, didn't break anything like the old tim would have. actually really felt I played happier today and took a couple of positives out of what seemed like a pathetic round of golf.
swing has kinda gotten to the point of no return with the new adjustments I've made so I just have to keep trusting it. greg and the others have really been great today with all the support, encouragement and messages. thanx guys...i know you all believe in what I'm doing and I'm actually starting to believe too...patience...
greg couldnt make it down today cause apparently the train service between yishun and khatib stopped cause someone was hit by a train. so he had to send esther down to work in his car.
wow. guess that really puts everything into perspective huh.
i mean sitting at the terrace with the other guys listening to them bitch and winge and whine about their "pathetic" rounds (which by the way were no where as bad as mine) was something to be expected after a game...but
man. sure I signed off for an 87 but at least I'm having a better day than the guy who got hit by the train. at least I'm still going to be able to see tomorrow...i guess, its been alot easier for me to see the big picture this year...no matter how bad your day is, someone's having a tougher time so just be grateful for life's little blessings...
instead of moping about today. I prefer to recall what a great day i had yesterday...
i mean i...
-had a great practice session at seletar.
-got to spend most of the afternoon with my dear godbrother linus (who i beat in pool AND bowling [ 163 - 126 - 190 ]) haha
-got the opportunity to hang out with uncle sylvan (the GM with the phenomenal singing voice) and sing karaoke until 10+ with mom too...realised that I CAN sing! :)
- all in all had a pretty damn good day
LINUS OWES ME $30 FROM BOWLING! HAHAHA
so there you have it. glass half full...
in my life i've got...
a fantastic God, beautiful friends, an awesome coach, a wonderful family, a helluvalotta talent for most things i do, and a great "extended family", and tonnes of other great things going for me...what's not to love!?
lookin on the bright side of life
God Bless
spread the lovin'
