and its another beautiful morning on my congested little spit of land I call Singapore. the birds are singing, the sun is shining and the DBS CHAMPION'S IN DA HOUSE! WAHOOO!

so yes, after my incessant bitching and winging thursday I actually did pull off a huge win yesterday. had a good chat wif the coach prior to zonking out thursday night and really put me in a good frame of mind.

went out there and (to be perfectly honest) chopped it. i mean literally just chopped it around. basically grinded my arse off and worked like a dog to win yesterday. putted like there was no tomorrow and made everything that I needed to make.

had (-1) 71 with a huge HUGE birdie on the last hole. had about 55meters in for my 3rd shot uphill to a tight front flag and I've just hit it dead stiff to about 2 feet. and just buried that putt, was nervous as hell standing over it but just buried the sucker for the win.

beat joshua on a countback which went all the way back to the 7th hole which I parred and he bogeyed. damn sweet victory.

so went for the lunch cum prize ceremony and after all the formalities were done and I finished up my interviews and photos I got a ride back from wee jins mom and crashed at home.

went to gregs place for his surprise birthday party. he actually didn't have a clue we were there...haha! so basically just hung out with the other seletar juniors and had fun last night at his place till about 11ish.

mom came and picked me up after. her seminar show went really really well (as usual) so it was a pretty damn good day for the family (thats just mom and me :))

prob gonna hit the gym later and just chill for the most part.

traditional champions celebration cs party 5 v 5 and dinner tonight with the guys. can't wait! always a blast when we all do good ;)

to josh: bro, i know you played your guts out and it really was unfortunate that the tournament had to be decided in such a manner but hey. we both played great and that's all that matters. it was truly a pleasure to have competed with you and all the others in our final DBS championship, you're a fighter and I really look forward to a great tourney next week ya? rock on sunshine!

p.s. we really showed crispy what DX can do huh!? :) cheers
