and for part 2 of my double post special...

with 2007 coming round the corner. time to look back and reflect on my top 10 moments of 2006...

10. Vice-captianing the winning SGA vs BGA match team.

an unbelievible experience for me. to have played with a bunch of guys with so much talent and heart. most importantly, coming from 2 down after 10 to win 5 of my next 6 holes and close out my singles match 3 & 2 meant so much to me

9. Winning the 4th leg of the DBS junior golf challenge at OCC by 5 shots

it just proved to me that the occ junior in 2005 wasn't a fluke and that I could close out tournaments despite all my near misses late in 2005. gave me a huge amount of confidence and my 2nd title.

8. Hosting Miss chua's final staff day (included singing with the golfers and playing in the 6th floor boys rock band)

just having the opportunity to go out there and perform and entertain people again. having so much fun up (and below) on stage with my best friend benji by my side was a sheer thrill for me. singing with the golfers and the 6th floor guys and to top it all off, the love and appreciation recieved after the show, always a rush for me :)

7. Chinese Singing comp.

even though leon and I didn't make it into the finals, the belief SPC had in me to allow me to get up there and perform with tok and dezzie was great. I had such a good time that night despite the butterflies in my stomach and a sore throat...so if good old timmy can sing a chinese song like that, anything's possible!

6. Hosting talent night (ben and I's last show together for the SSS)

an emotional event for me. but great to be able to get up there and do one of the thigs I love to do for the people I love one more time. And i couldnt have picked a better co-host and partner in crime than benji kheng. being up there in front of the SSS peeps as their emcee sure was emo but hey, i enjoyed every minute of my ride starting all the way back from last years staff dat :) hope they enjoyed it too

5. Defecting from the Gary Edwin Golf academy (joining "DX" with Lam, sunshine and leon)

bittersweet for me but really was one of the major turning points in the year for myself even though it came so late in the year. it was a tough decision to make but I really appreciated the support from Yu Khing and Mom which helped me through it. It was time for a change in direction and I thank God I found an awesome and dedicated coach in Greg ankatell...now the future for my game's never looked better! :)

4. Succesfully defending my WGCC matchplay crown and making my 1st ever hole in one.

after just 2 weeks with the new greg i had my first ever ace and survived a tough final match with ken smith to retain my championship and extend my matchplay unbeated streak to 9 - 0. the game performed under the pump and that win really gave me the re-assurance that I made the right decision in changing coach. and the confidence to work even harder.

3. Finishing my musical.

finally, a writing project that I actually finished! honestly I couldnt' have done it without the inspiration from God and the sheer will that I had to complete it in hopes that it will be performed sometime in 2008!

2. Winning the 6th Leg of the DBS Junior Golf Challenge at Jurong.

ended my 8 month long junior circuit winless drought. after a rain out on the first day when I had everything going good, the encouragement and support from Greg, mom and yu khing helped me re-group and focus for the final round. memorable duel with my close friend and fellow DX member joshua, ending it off with a brilliant wedge to 2 feet from 60 meters and a putt right in the heart of the cup. unbelievible golf under the pump that day and victory never tasted sweeter, birthday present to greg :)

1. Confirmation Camp and Confirmation day

no matter how good my year was nothing will ever take the number 1 spot away from the amazing experience I had at confi camp in june. just to experience the love of God in such a real sense just changed me forever and convinced me that there is a purpose to live for. it gave me the hope that things were going to turn around and that no matter how bad things get in life, God will always love me. And to have shared that experience with such an amazing group of people and to have met to many wonderful and loving friends (who've practically become family) throughout the course of the year in church had made my one year delay well worth it! and to finally be a confirmed catholic by the name of Constantine, just brings my life to a whole new level.

all in all, despite bookend victories at the 4th and 6th legs of the DBS 2006 was a mediocre year for golf, but with my new team behind me and the support of my peers and rivals 2007 looks to surpass everyone elses expectations by leaps and bounds and I cant wait!

I've never felt spiritually more connected to God and so loved in my life. and with my joining of LIGHT there's no telling what we can do in 2007 for God and fellow man

I've met some beautiful people and strengthened many existing relationships and its been such a great bunch of peeps to share my journey of teenage life with.

and my family's never been better, the love, the humor, and the popiah has been bountiful in 2006 and here'sto a greater 2007.

well this is my 2nd last post of 2006 so yeah

party tonight...and tomorrow...haha
