so, it's finally my BIG day! confirmation!

I've waited one whole extra year for this but its truly been one of the most fulfiling I've ever had in my life. The people I've met and the experiences I had have been priceless and I wouldn't trade anyone of them for the world.

i've grown so much spiritually over the course of the past 10 months and i still can't believe its almost coming to an end!!!

mixed emotions I guess. I'll miss scrambling to get from wherever I am in the world down to church by 430 every saturday just to go down and talk about God and be with some absolutely wonderful people. The sharings, the skits and stuff, the jokes, the long emotionally stirring speeches by uncle eric, the fellowship, the love, the life-changing june camp but most importantly the whole expreience of it all!

I suppose it does suck in the fact that most people after they get confirmed kind of stray off and don't really get involved in church anymore. Unfortunately my batch will be no different, there are going to be the guys who will go and be "professional" Catholics as father Richards so eloquently puts it, coming back on the odd blue moon. I'll miss them very much.

but i have a strong sense of hope that there will be a bunch of us (myself included) who will get more involed in church stuff and try to help out in as many ways as possible to give back to the church that has given us so much.

I'm excited. can't wait to go. gonna finally be known as..."Timothy Constantine Low"

its quite possibly going to be one of the biggest days of my life (right up there with marrige and my first kid but that's all later) i know some people might think I'm making a big deal about it but like whatever...I finally will become a catholic...a full loving catholic!

I am very sleep deprived after a 5 hour spongebob edition of monopoly kept me up till 2am in hong kong yesterday with an 8am flight this morning but I'm good to go!

life starts anew for me at 530 today.

I'm off.
