LIGHT today was like totally awesome! i had an absolute blast!!! yeah!

started off in st.michaels. father richards and eric were giving us this really good talk about what christmas truly is/was. and what the first christmas was truly like. kinda a really stark contrast from what commercialisation has done to it these days...really deep stuff.

then had this thing called the amazing Grace. i know, corny, but it was marcia's idea. anyway, it was really fun.

got broken up into random groups of 7 and had to run around town doing tasks and answering questions on task sheets.

started at ngee ann city, had to buy something and donate to the BB charity there.

then went to plaza sing, had to make a sandwich for under $5 and give it to a complete and total stranger to "spread the christmas joy" which actually felt kinda good. then rushed back down to taka to do some other worksheet.

then had to hand draw family portrait. finally i get to realise my artistic dreams...haha...i know, i draw pathetically but you get points for trying right?

then went to wisma to check up on the MILK charity, then had to "promote singapores version of christmas to some unsuspecting tourist" and stuff like that, while trying to solve complicated latin bible related riddles and stuff...tough life aint it?

but thankfully had help from steph, ethan and tuaks! thanks guys!

went back for de-brief and more talking about the modernization of christmas and to be honest it really sucks that we've digressed so much from what its ture values and symbols are. i'll bitch about all of that later.

then went out for a 4 o clock lunch with some of the guys (namely linus, gladys, jonathan, nick J and his sis, stephan, ian and justin) went to sushi box and had a good time, i mean a REALLY good time! anyway, food was good and company was delightful, nice meal.

then took linus, nick J, elaine, gladys and justin back to my crib to pervert them with monty pythons holy grail. then watched whose line on the com until 730. laughed like hell. good guys, really good guys. love my light peeps to death! yeah!

well its time to clear up my stuff and get organised for year end already. training tomorrow from 8 to 8. cant wait!
