well yesterday was a rather depressing occation now wasn't it?...

nick faldo came down in the morning for a golf clinic at around 7ish, was already warming up by then. Have to admit it was very entertaining and insightful...after all its not everyday you get to watch a 6 time major winner hit balls...

teed off around 812 after all the standard obligatory wishes of good luck to the others. played with josh, lion (why is it always him!!!) and mel :) ...felt actually pretty good about my chances walking down the first fairway but as the round went on i really couldn't settle into a very good rhythm at all, had one or two bad breaks but other than that it was entirely my fault.

and it didn't help that joshua started off hot and kept extending the lead as we went. i 3 putted 7 for bogey, made bogey on 8 and took double of 9 to fall 7 behind with 9 to play and really started to hit the panic buttons. still thought i could pull it off though and kept on grinding but it was just one of those days where nothing went my way and couldn't get anything to happen...

made 6 on 2 par 5's from potential birdie or even eagle spots. made stupid mistake on 16 and limped home for a bogey at 18 and a fucking 82! i swear i played like an absofuckinlute dum dum yesterday and really felt like dumping my clubs in the sea...one of those days i guess...

but at least joshua won, so happy for him. last of the 5 sec 4s to notch up a (W) on the resume. way to go sunshine!!!

had lunch with puff, gab, wooman, jonleong and feldman at Illido after that. food was pretty good then went back to jonnys house to chill. just watched tv, chatted and unwound after another screwed up week. really a big brother figure to me. role model i guess ;) at times an asshole but you gotta love the guy all the same.

went down with him for the dinner at the asian civilisations museum after that and on the way talked about love, relationships and girls...if there's anyone who knows more than i do its him...so yeah

drinks reception was good. Faldo remembers me!!! :) and uncle benny really talked some sense into me and made me feel alot better about everything that transpired that day. just gotta move on, just gotta move on.

dinner was lovely and the evening was all in all very very enjoyable. congratulations to...

-my dearest friend and wrong sided golfer justin han for winning the overall title!
-chewy for giving it a great effort all in all and winning the U21
-joshua for finally winning :)
-mel for the great come from behind win and thanks for cheering me on the whole day long
-kristle...for winning her division by 17!!! shots... omg

have fun at the world finals in china...bring me back a postcard...

got back and chatted with coach greg a bit and he was really great at getting me motivated to get ready for the rest of my tourneys and to just learn from this week and move on. i'm so glad i've got a great dedicated coach now after the switch ;)

went into the room to chat with mom and came out very very depressed and upset...go figure...

the one thing that's kept me going and grinding my butt off every single day I'm out there is the thought and knowlege that no matter what happens on that day I've tried my best and that at the end of the day somebody loves me all the same, regardless of if I shoot 59 or 89...but I don't know what got into mom yesterday...i really don't know...she pissed me off bad...real bad...

hitting the gym today...

God Bless
