ran 10km this morning. everything that could go wrong did...my shoe flew off, my iPod died and i finished it in an hour and 5 mins...sheesh...actually running at a pretty decent pace, then when my iPod went...bam! then my shoe came off...sigh...oh well...

pitched for the next 2 hours and its a heap better than last week. quite an interesting morning at the base actually...trent and some other guy had to teach these group of really rowdy primary school kids how to play and it was freggin hillarious. we just sat there for a while after out run and made fun of them and laughing away...discreetly obviously cause their parents were there...haha, but greg really is so mean when we're cracking jokes about them. haha. one leftie actually was trying to play right handed! hahah!

then when we were practicing there were like banglah's down there measuring and calculating things at the back of the base where we pitch. with very strong indian sounding accents. rather unusual really. hearing and seeing a crazy group of kids running around at the range, and the constant screams of "abhul! abhul! chamraka derang saema!!!" and this little indian guy running round for his boss too...not your average thursday scene at the normally peaceful base.

mels dad gave me a lift out and i cabbed back to grannys place. lunch was the standard chicken rice. and I've spent the last 2 hours just lying on my bed here surfing the net and goofing around with her wireless mouse! haha...easily amused I know...

gonna go back in a bit. must finish writing project tonight. still praying hard that it'll come through!
