shot 77 today, guess i should be pleased after whats happened recently so i shall not winge about the round...too much...

hit the ball pretty well today, but started poorly. bogeyed first 4 holes before making a great up and down from a damn near impossible spot in the bunker on 5. putted pretty good save for 3 putting 2 par 5s which i managed to knock on in 2 shots. closed out +3 in the last 4.

after round sat down with yu khing and kim baldwin for lunch and a chat. they suggested some things i really should be trying to to with my game asap and I'm excited about that.

had putting practice with greg foo, leon and shawn after the game. the foos did good and chewy's leading at 67 (-4) justy's doing aiite at 70 (-1) and smithy's at 74 (+3). I'm like samck middle of the pack after round 1. tied 60th out of 121 players. super slow round la. sian.

course was set up pretty easy today so plenty of low numbers. cut line's gonna be pretty low this year so gonna need to get out of the gates quicker tomorrow and make something happen to have a chance of a friday tee time.

meanwhile. I've started to get sick again...sigh...got a runny nose, cold sweat and a sore throat but i think I'll make it through the week without winding up in a morgue.

class photoshoot theme is out...greek gods? comeon. how am i supposed to find a greek god outfit in a week when I'm trying to make the cut in the biggest event of the year? sigh. at worst i'll just have to come in dressed in the usual high end model type clothes and try to be...GROOVUS - GREEK GOD OF FUNK! ..if not i'm screwed...

well I'm gonna pop some panadols and get to bed now.

got a 907 tee time tomorrow and it'll prob be a 7 hour round...sigh...
