to say I'm upset about the way I've played over the past 48 hours is a severe undersatement. felt really good about my game heading into this week, hell it even worked well in the practice rounds! got there first tee thursday and it just seemed a little off. Played steady for the first 3, just missed birdies on each of them then just had a mental meltdown on the next 4, dropped 6 shots in that stretch...played horridly through the rest of the round and finished off with an 83 (+11)...very very pissed after that...sat 165th out of 190.

just tried to forget about my round after that and went down to the mall with bee and mel to just have dinner and try to relax. tried calling greggy but reception here is so bad we only got a couple of minutes in, not pleased about that too.

went down to the range early this morning after breakfast at around 7 and hit about 150 balls to try and find something in the swing. didnt feel really comfortable but felt a little better about swing this morning. went out there and played pretty steady save for an opening bogey. then 3 putted a par 3 from about 20 feet, then i knocked my tee shot on the next hole into somebody's backyard and ou of bounds...triple there...struggled home but chipped in birdie once. Wind just howled crazy today, at least 10-15 mph, wreked havoc with distances and shot control. Doubled last to shoot 80. poor round by any standards.

however, with the stronger winds the scoring ballooned and I actually moved up to a tie for 120th. dont think I can make the 3 day cut so the best I can hope for is to put 2 more good rounds and pray that I can still make it to the asian games squad.

just very upset with the way I've played so far this week and mom's been on my case about my golf again, which is starting to irritate me a bit. she's supposed to be supportive but I aint feelin it right now...just very very pissed about my game...other than that florida's been a blast!

missing home loads and praying that I'll play well tomorrow

spread the lovin'
