just finished up 3rd round about 2 hours ago. shot an uninspiring 80 today, but there was some reason to hope after that round. started off in the worst possible way with 4 dropped shots in the first 4 holes. then i got some redempion by almost making a hole in one, whic turned into a birdie, doubled 2 holes later and turned +6...not happy...doubled my 10th hole...not happy at all...then saved nice par on 11 followed by a birdie on 12...thats more like it...started playing something that resembled golf on the backside which gave me enough hope to believe that I can still lick this game...bogeyed the last to shoot 80 though but what the hell...I'm in florida at the optimist international...who's complainin'? :)

so its quite safe to assume that Ive missed the cut. but hey, it was a great experience and as long as I learnt something from the week I'll be happy, and I've learned tonnes from the whole experience...and like taylor said...keep hanging in there and it'll click one day...great advice from a great guy...

I mean look at Pavit...just last year he was struggling to get out of the shadows of great thai phenoms like anujit and chinnarat. Hell he was a choker. Now look at the guy...won the UBC in thailand this year by like what, 8 shots? and a gazillion under par? and now he's leading this week at -5 on the hardest track in florida...I say that's pretty darn impressive. I'll give it to the guy, he's one hell of a grinder and an even better fighter. He's hung in there and now things are finally starting to click...hoepfully, I'll click soon.

well I still have the consolation game tomorrow, at least I'll have some fun there...its so unfair. Bee and I had the same scores after 2 rounds and I was 120th in the guys and she was 22 in the girls...gees, curse testosterone! but anyway, I'll nap now then go shopping with the girls later...

I'm still missin home loads...but hey...I'm in florida :)

spread the lovin'
