ok, its me from school! wow! tonight was the chinese singing competition! ahhhh! so fun hahaha!...leon and I didnt get into the finals but Mr. Seah was nice enough to allow me a second chance to strut my stuff on finals night :) what a great guy...so he set me up with my great chinese teacher and compadre mr. tok...soon our little surprise act was joined by musicians Mr. Timothy Ho on the guitar and my dearest bestie benji on the keyboard...last minute entry was my big brother dezzie! so yeah...our little bunch of misfits (3 failures & 2 chinese teachers) didnt get much practice but toksie, dezzie and I managed to pull through with a really nice and well appreciated final act...

damn it was cool...nerve wreaking leading up to tonight...stressful "secret" rehersals in undisclosed locations...loads of water...tonnes of fortacold throat sweets...a lot of praying...and a hellofalot of support from everyone who knew about our little secret... to everyone who cheered, yelled and applauded our attempted "tong hua" i sincerely thank you from the bottom lof my heart...you all are fantastic and I really dont think that any one of us could have made it without you guys...got out...way out of my comfort zone but all definately worth it!

so we went slighty off pitch and the movements werent exactly american idol caliber but hey...everyone loved the idea of toksie, dezzie and (the living legend, the longest running failure in singaporean chinese history...) yours truly :) singing to entertain...we had a blast and were definately the uncontested most popular act of the night ;)

not to take anything away from the true idols they sang just terrific...trackers werent exactly up to matching their great semi final performance but they did a great job...benji and tao li were awesome and everyone loved that...netball girls were sweet and great...gab and puffy were very nice indeed and fully deserving of the win...(even though we felt that ben & Tao Li should have gotten it...haha)...and badminton wasnt too bad either...pretty sweet everyone! fantastic job...

well thats my little singing bid out of the way for a while...will be working on another surprise for staff day but you all will know more about that later ;) ...meanwhile, its down into tournament mode for me and the guys...asia pac next weel...interschools after that...singapore junior open after that and I'm defending my OCC title after that...the season finally comes to an end at the ASEAN interschools after that...

so yeah...its time to fire it up!
